JARBLUM ENTERTAINMENT GROUP ("JEG") is an independent production company, which develops, finances and arranges for the distribution of motion picture and television projects. Bill Jarblum, principal of JEG, spent the first half of his career practicing business and finance law before following his passion and transitioning into the film business. Bill is a member of the Producers Guild of America.

Charlie Bartlett is a 2007 comedy-drama film directed by Jon Poll. The screenplay by Gustin Nash focuses on a teenager who begins to dispense therapeutic advice and prescription drugs to the student body at his new high school in order to become popular.

The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on May 1, 2007, and was shown at the Cannes Film Market, the Maui Film Festival, and the Cambridge Film Festival before going into theatrical release in the United States and Canada on August 3, 2007.

The film was produced by JEG's affiliate Texon Entertainment, Inc.

Little TraitorIdo Port and Alfred Molina

Bill Jarblum, the CEO of JEG, was the coproducer of Little Traitor, a coming of age story set at the eve of Israel's independence in 1947, starring Alfred Molina. The movie is based on the Amos Oz novel Panther in the Basement. The award winning film had a theatrical release and is currently available on Netflix. Faded Memories



Jarblum Entertainment Group was a consultant to the producers of The Dukes, a film starring Robert Davi, Chazz Palminteri and Peter Bogdanovich. The movie is about the members of a 1960's Doo Wop group who have fallen on hard times and what lengths they will go to in order to survive. The Dukes was featured in the Premiere Section of the Rome Film Festival on October 23, 2007. The movie was released in late 2008 in New York and Los Angeles. Faded Memories




Jarblum Entertainment Group was a producer and William Jarblum was an Executive Producer of Faded Memories, a film written by Anne-Sophie Dutoit when she was 14 and directed by and starring Anne-Sophie when she was 16. Cloud Burst

William Jarblum was Executive Producer of the multi award winning film Cloudburst. The film was written, directed and produced by Thom Fitzgerald and is presented and distributed by Sidney Kimmel Entertainment. The movie stars Academy Award® winners Olympia Dukakis (Moonstruck) and Brenda Fricker (My Left Foot). The story follows two women who have been lovers for 30 years but have to "break out" of a nursing facility to get married in Canada. They pick up a young male hitchhiker who sidetracks them. http://www.cloudburstmovie.com/ Cloudburst premiered on Lifetime Television in February 2013.

Underpass

JEG and William Jarblum are producing with Accolade Films and Lynda Cope in London the action drama Underpass based on the best selling nonfiction book Gideon's Spies by Gordon Thomas. Underpass is a different take on the Princess Diana Paris car crash, suggesting that the crash might not have been an accident but that Princess Di was not the target. The story is based on Thomas' account of the incident in his book about the Mossad. John Badham (Saturday Night Fever, Stakeout, WarGames, Bird on a Wire, etc. and numerous television episodes (The Event, Psych, Criminal Minds, In Plain Sight, Heroes, etc.)) is attached as the director. The film is in development.

JEG and Bill Jarblum in association with Starfield Independent Studios, Inc., of which Mr. Jarblum is a principal, are in preproduction of three science fiction pictures, Captain Reggie, Prison Moon IO and The Rodax.

JEG and Bill Jarblum are in preproduction of the dark comedy Blue Rinse Killers, starring Olympia Dukakis, Tantoo Cardinal and Pam Grier.

JEG and Bill Jarblum are in preproduction of the historical picture The Story of Paul, The Road to Damascus starring Jeremy Davies and John Rhys-Davies. The movie is being shot in Malta and is the first of a trilogy about the Apostle Paul.

JEG and Bill Jarblum, together with Lisa Hackner and Paul Hackner in Los Angeles and Alma Television and Film and Metro Communications in Israel, are in preproduction of a documentary based upon the book The Aleppo Codex written by Matti Friedman.

Bill Jarblum together with Vicki McCarty and Covington International in Los Angeles and Multiple Media Entertainment in Toronto are developing a television series based on the Baby Shark series of books written by Robert Fate.

JEG has numerous other projects in various stages of development.
